Harmony’s Grace, 60 x 60 inches

Recently installed in the client’s home, this spectacular piece was almost a year in the making.  Harmony’s Grace incorporates the personal images from the client’s life and family: images of the mountains in Aspen, a Chinese dress, a lotus flower, pictures from their travels, an embedded LED light and A LOT of butterflies.  Ingrid decided to use multiple clear layers within the piece as well as clear thick acrylic sides, adding light and an intimate view into the work.  The clear layers inside the work appear to float, giving the work an ethereal and uplifting feeling.   The final result is an intricate work of living memories, art, light and personal stories.
