Master of Metamorphosis

Master of Metamorphosis OSU Museum of Art June 9-July 26, 2026

From June 9 through July 26, 2026, the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art will present Master of Metamorphosis, an exhibition of works by Ingrid Dee Magidson. The exhibition brings together a selection of Magidson’s richly layered compositions, where imagery drawn from classical sources, mythology, and history evolves through a process of transformation. Within these complex surfaces, figures and symbols emerge, dissolve, and reappear, revealing an ongoing dialogue between past and present.

An artist reception will be held at the museum on Thursday, June 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
