Metal is Brilliant

Ingrid has been searching and experimenting for years to find a medium that presents her dimensional work on a flat surface.  Everything has fallen flat (forgive the pun), except metal.  Something about the reflective nature of the material behind the color just makes the image pop.

The works shown here were carefully chosen as the best representations of Ingrid’s work in this new medium. The processes is highly involved and slow, taking about 6 to 8 weeks.  Afterwords, they are framed with a simple and elegant black float frame as shown.  Each is then hand embellished with ink, butterflies and other objects.  Each is hand signed by the artist.
